Andrew M. Wallace

Andrew M. Wallace has been teaching music and theater for 20 years. He is currently the Executive and Artistic Director of the Youth Choral Theater of Chicago - a non-profit children's choir in Chicagoland's north suburbs.

Andrew is an avid arranger of choral music - from contemporary a cappella to SA, SAB, SSA, and SATB selections. Andrew writes for what music educators are looking for- accessible and engaging literature for all voice types and ensembles. Andrew also customizes selections for solo and small vocal ensembles (duets, trios, etc.)- perfect for solo/ensemble competitions or voice recital content. Andrew is a frequent festival guest conductor, and was honored to serve as music director for the 2013 Illinois Theater Festival All-State musical, Memphis. Andrew is also Co-Owner, Music Director, and Performer in the professional cabaret group in Chicago, The Chicago Red Line. Andrew has his Masters in Music Education from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Andrew resides in Highland Park with his husband, Daniel, and their two fur babies, Piper and Stella.
